For a quick lunch while visiting Green Cove Springs, Florida, Sweet Sensations Cafe offers soups, sandwiches, salads, and plenty of sweets.

Casual Lunches

It’s hard to make a decision on what to order at Sweet Sensations. When you come in, there’s a specials board, a menu, and a deli case full of glorious-looking selections.

Daily Specials

When there are more desserts on the menu than… you get the idea! You know it’s going to be a great place! Rumor has it Sweet Sensations began as a bakery shop, then expanded to include luncheon choices.

Delicious Combinations

Sorely tempted to begin with a dessert, I did finally settle on a Maine Lobster Bisque soup and Grilled Cheese Supreme sandwich. However, there are plenty of other choices!

Small Spot – Big Menu!

Soups, salads, and sandwiches galore are featured on the Sweet Sensations menu. I’m just looking for an excuse to go through Green Cove Springs again around lunchtime so I can sample a few more choices!

Irresistible Desserts

While I can’t pass up a good cannoli, Bill could not resist an enormous cookie. The flavor he chose was Key Lime Pie, and it was divine.

Outdoor View

Across the street lies La Casita, a dinner restaurant and mini Hispanic grocery. Since the view from Sweet Sensations is Highway 17, an even better option is to get your choices to go and head down to the spring and eat with a view of the spring and the St. Johns River. Unless you are in a hurry, then stay put!

Outside Appearance Fools You

Although the exterior of Sweet Sensations doesn’t look like much, inside, you can order the most delicious lunch imaginable. For the price of a soggy burger at a fast food joint, you can enjoy a much better meal.

The locals flock here by foot and by golf cart; it’s that type of a laid-back, easy-going small Florida town.
